Topps Tiles plans to launch its in-store Tile Studio into new stores in a bid to provide a one-stop shop.
The premium department, offering higher-priced 'to order' tiles in 14 stores at present, will be included in all new outlets where space is available. A further 24 new shops are planned this financial year.
Chief executive Nick Ounstead said the 180-strong retailer will also open more of its Tile Clearing House discount stores next to Topps Tiles outlets where possible, to increase the attraction to shoppers.
Sales in the six months to November climbed 17 per cent to£54.1 million and profits rose 37 per cent to£8.1 million.
