Ted Baker is a designer-led fashion brand, offering aspirational clothing and accessories in a distinct, quirky style. It was officially acquired by Authentic Brands Group in October 2022. In June 2023, AARC Group became the retail operator of Ted Baker stores, concessions and website in the UK and Europe. However, in early 2024 Authentic was reportedly mulling a CVA as it parted ways with AARC before it was revealed in March of the same year that administrators had been called in, and potential buyers were reportedly circling.

Group sales increased 20.5% to £428.2m in the 52 weeks to 29 January 2022 (FY2021) as the retailer delivered “strong sales momentum” supported by people returning to the office and social events.
