Danish retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen has teased the opening of dozens of new stores across six brand new markets.
The value variety chain announced on LinkedIn that it will open 50 new stores across the Western Balkans over the next four years.
The rollout will start in October, as it will debut a store in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The retailer said on LinkedIn: “This will bring Flying Tiger Copenhagen to Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia – introducing our brand and concept to millions of new customers.”
It added that the expansion will be in partnership with its “strong and trusted partner” in that region, Balfin Group.
The news arrives after Flying Tiger posted its annual report for 2024, revealing it had reached a post-pandemic record as revenues increased 5% to DKK5.2bn (£588m).
