Fashion entrepreneur George Davies has revealed further details of his forthcoming Middle East-based kidswear chain, including the name of the operation and the launch date of the first store.

Davies, who said in June that he plans to roll out a kidswear chain in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, will open the first store, which he has named FG4, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in January.

He plans to open 120 kidswear stores in the Middle East, according to The Independent.

Davies - who founded Next and created Asda’s George label and Marks & Spencer’s Per Una sub-brand - is reportedly set to close all of his GIVe womenswear standalone stores. GIVe closed its store on Regent Street earlier this month, a year after the venture was launched by Davies.
