Screwfix (Financials)
UK sales at Screwfix surged 7.3% to £2,538m for the year ending 31 January 2024 (FY2023) with like-for-like sales climbing 1.4%, with the retailer gaining market share. It delivered a “good performance” across most categories, with tools and hardware, building and joinery and outdoor performing “particularly well”. Sales slowed in its second half, however, with like-for-like sales down 0.2% due to a weak market in December and unseasonably warm weather throughout the period.
