Toolstation is launching a rival rapid-delivery service that aims to match Screwfix Sprint’s 60-minute guarantee for the same delivery fee.

The tools and building supply retailer has joined the rapid trade delivery service TradeKart to offer one-hour delivery of its products directly to homes and sites.
The first phase of the service will roll out in November from 44 Toolstation stores across the UK, covering London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh, before expanding to the wider store estate.
The service will offer rapid delivery of over 10,000 products in under one hour for a £5 delivery fee, matching the delivery time and price of competitor Screwfix Sprint.
Toolstation customer director Chris Other said: “This rapid delivery service will enable us to go even further to meet the needs of our customers. We know how busy they are and the challenges they face when working on-site, and no one wants to down tools and spend time battling traffic to pick up a specific product. Partnering with Tradekart means that we can provide customers with the ultimate convenience that will keep them on the job.”
TradeKart founder Alistair McAuley said: “We’re thrilled to launch this exciting new partnership with Toolstation, which will give tradespeople across the UK access to their extensive range of materials on demand, wherever and whenever they need them. Time is one of our most valuable assets and this service will ensure tradespeople can focus on what they do best, putting this wasted time and money to better use.”
