Retail Week Interiors - Bullring gets Logo flagship store

A 3,900 sq ft (360 sq m) Logo store opened in Birmingham's Bullring last Saturday.

As a flagship shop for the Aberdeen-based value womenswear retailer, design consultancy Briggs Hillier was briefed to refine the prototype concept that was launched at the beginning of this year.

The Bullring store trades from one floor and a 600 sq ft (55 sq m) mezzanine at the back, housing the footwear department. This area is supported by a curved colour- change illuminated wall, which is reached via a sparkly Cinderella-style staircase. Beneath the mezzanine are fitting rooms, arranged in a circular format, with a central communal space.

The design stage of the project took two months, with five weeks on site, according to Briggs Hillier director Jenny Hillier. Shopfitting was carried out by Barbour and lighting was by Prolite.
