The Fit 4 the Future project included a complete overhaul of supply chain systems, but the retailer confirmed in 2019 that forward plans incorporate “ongoing investment and innovation” in the supply chain. These include the commencement of a new returns automation facility at its distribution centre in Shaw, near Oldham.
