Property news - New stores for Republic

Fashion retailer Republic has secured three new sites, in Southampton, Reading and Basingstoke. In Southampton, it has taken the 465 sq m former Madhouse store in West Quay on a new 15-year lease at£285,000 a year.

In Reading, it has taken the 185 sq m former Blue Tomato store in The Oracle centre on a new 15-year lease at£185,000 a year. In Basingstoke's Festival Place, it has taken 425 sq m on a 15-year lease at£145,000 a year.
