Fast-fashion retailer New Look has launched a one-hour, consumer-controlled delivery option, in partnership with delivery company DPD.

Shoppers are able to choose a one-hour delivery slot anytime between 11am and 5pm during the following seven days.

New Look is the second retailer to sign up for DPD Precise, after Asos partnered with the delivery firm last month.

Customers are notified by text or email of their next day, one-hour delivery window. Until now this slot has been determined by DPD, without giving customers a choice.

Precise customers will now be able to choose to accept the original delivery slot via the notification, or select their preferred delivery day and their one-hour delivery slot via DPD’s in-flight option.

New Look UK and Ireland managing director Danny Barrasso termed the partnership “the ultimate convenience in online shopping”.

He added: “New Look is constantly looking at ways to improve our customers’ online journey. By working with DPD and launching Precise our customers can now select their own one-hour timeslot for next-day delivery – making it seamless, efficient and flexible.”
