London Dungeon opens first little Shop of Horrors

The owner of The London Dungeon, Merlin Entertainments, has opened its first Shop of Horrors next to the famous London Bridge attraction.

More standalone outlets may follow if the 75 sq ft (7 sq m) store is successful.

Previously, Merlin only operated souvenir stores at its attractions, but commercial director James Burleigh believed a retail arm could complement the leisure destinations.

The store carries product ranging from Jack the Ripper condoms to gothic collectables, including a£1,000 throne.
