Jeweller Links posts sales surge

Jeweller Links of London posted a 21.5 per cent surge in annual sales, following the success of its Broad-band sterling silver watch collection and Links for Kids range. For the year ended July 31, sales rose to£13.6 million, and like-for-like growth was 13.5 per cent. The retailer's profits were not disclosed. Founded in 1990 by Annoushka Ducas (pictured) and her husband John Ayton, Links has 34 stores in Europe, the US and Asia.

'This year, sales are budgeted to exceed£18 million,' said Ayton. Like-for-like sales for the first nine weeks of this year were up 18.6 per cent. A fortnight ago, Links opened an enlarged flagship store in central London.
