Marks & Spencer turns to Greencore for new finance chief

Marks & Spencer has named Eoin Tonge as finance director

Marks & Spencer has appointed Eoin Tonge as chief financial officer. Tonge joins from food group Greencore where he held the same role and replaces Humphrey Singer who left at the end of last year. 

Marks & Spencer chief executive Steve Rowe said: “Eoin’s appointment concludes a rigorous search for a world-class finance director. He brings in-depth knowledge of food, as well as strategy and operations, and is another addition to the very strong management team we are building to transform M&S.
