London shopping thoroughfare Carnaby Street’s 50th anniversary celebrations will continue with a catwalk show in September.
Catwalk Carnaby will be staged three times on September 11 to drive shoppers to the street and surrounding areas. The shows come just prior to London Fashion Week. The productions will be styled by London Fashion Week stylist Alexis Knox.
The Carnaby Street stores will also have a range of special offers including Puma offering a ‘New for Old’ footwear promotion , whereby if shoppers bring in their old shoes they can get £15 discount on a new pair, while Pepe Jeans London will be offering a 20% discount.
In Kingly Court, Carnaby Street’s independent boutiques will also run special offers.
Other retailers are offering manicures, goody bags and hair styling as part of the celebrations.
