Burberry is relocating its twin men’s and women’s shops on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge to launch a new flagship store on nearby Sloane Street.

The luxury fashion retailer’s relocation project forms part of the first phase of the Knightsbridge Estate K1 development.

Burberry’s new West London site – the first of seven available flagship units in the K1 development – will span more than 15,000 sq ft across four floors.

The development will also offer office accommodation, apartments and garden space.

Asset manager and property developer Chelsfield – responsible for the development – said the partnership will bring the creation of an “outstanding new store”.

Burberry will begin trading at No. 1 Sloane Street upon completion of the development. Construction is due to start in 2018.
