Lingerie specialist Bravissimo has paused all online orders after suffering a fire at its warehouse, which has taken toll on order processing operations, Retail Week can reveal.

It is understood that a fire broke out at the warehouse in Leamington Spa on Saturday evening, which has had a “complex” impact on the business.
Bravissimo told Retail Week that it is unable to take any online orders at the moment as a result of the fire as it works to “re-establish” operations at the warehouse.
The retailer did not confirm how long the process will take or how long online orders will be suspended, but said it will take “a little time” due to it being a “live situation”.
The lingerie retailer added that the fire was extinguished quickly and no staff members were impacted.
A spokesperson for Bravissimo emphasised that the pause to online orders is in no way cyber-related following the recent raft of cyber attacks in the retail sector.
The spokesperson said: “We hope to return to normal business as soon as possible, but in the meantime we are inviting all our customers to visit us in any of our 25 stores across the UK, all of which are unaffected.
“Our customers are the heart of Bravissimo, and we have received such an incredible response both within our shops and across our social channels. We have been overwhelmed by all the love and support from our community and it has meant the world to us.”
Bravissimo was acquired by underwear and swimwear manufacturer Wacoal Europe in September last year, and long-term chief executive Leanne Cahill announced her departure after seven years at the business earlier this year.
