Bravissimo is a dynamic multichannel retailer specifically targeting bigger-busted women, compared to other lingerie retailers such as Ann Summers and Boux Avenue. Originally established as a lingerie and swimwear specialist, the retailer has also sold a full range of clothing for curvier women. Launched as a mail-order retailer in 1995, the retailer now operates bricks-and-mortar stores, as well as a its online store, a call centre order service and mail orders. Its first US store opened in summer 2019.

Bravissimo continued its sales recovery as pandemic restrictions lifted, only affecting trade in the first quarter of the year ending 31 October 2022 (FY2022). Revenues rose 12.7% to £58.1m in the latest financial year as the retailer refocused its proposition on the core categories of lingerie, swimwear and nightwear and discontinued its clothing category.
