AXA Real Estate Investment Managers has paid£43 million for a portfolio of 13 prime town centre retail properties across the UK. The deal reflects an equivalent yield of 6.5 per cent. The portfolio, put on the market by Hermes Property Asset Management, comprises 10,150 sq m in Aberdeen, Ayr, Bromley, Cheltenham, Harrogate, Harrow, Ipswich, Lancaster, Perth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Swansea, Walsall and York. Strutt & Parker acted for the purchaser. Hermes was represented by CB Hillier Parker and Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker.
