A host of the UK’s top retailers and their suppliers are in the running for an award that recognises retail’s most innovative and effective supply chains.

Big name retailers making the shortlist for the Hermes Retail Week Supply Chain Awards include Sainbury’s, Tesco, Mamas & Papas and John Lewis.

The shortlist also includes a clutch of leading suppliers which have worked in conjunction with retail partners to put into practice some of the best examples of work in the retail supply chain from the past year.

In the next month a panel of expert judges will gather to choose the winners, who will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony taking place in London on the evening of September 26 at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.

Carole Woodhead, chief executive at headline sponsor Hermes, said: “The standard of the entries this year has been hugely impressive and underlines the essential role that the supply chain is playing within the UK retail sector.

“All the finalists have demonstrated that they are at the forefront of global supply chain excellence and this year’s awards ceremony promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet.”

Supply Chain Survey

Retail Week is conducting a short survey of retailers to find out more about the current pressures facing supply chain teams, as well as key areas of innovation.

The survey should take no longer than 2 minutes to complete and all participants will be in with a chance of winning a £50 Amazon voucher in our prize draw.
