
Laura Heywood
Laura is responsible for leading Retail Week Connect’s growth strategy implementation and the operational management of new product launches and existing inventory. Her role includes being responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of all business processes and outputs on Connect, and managing P&L. She regularly chairs industry conferences and panel debates with specialisms in inclusion and diversity (I&D), supply chain and tech.
Prior to running the operations for Connect, Laura was Head of Diversity Programme, strategically overseeing the evolution of Retail Week Be Inspired, the UK’s leading inclusion, diversity and equity initiative for retail. She continues to be an I&D specialist, ensuring the brand’s commercial output reflects the Ascential-wide commitment to creating diverse and inclusive content. Laura joined Retail Week in 2013 having previously worked as a journalist in the wine and spirits industry.
