Sportswear giant Gymshark has revealed plans to open its debut flagship store in the US.

Gymshark is set to open the doors of its debut permanent location in the US in the form of a new flagship store located on 11 Bond Street, New York, later this year.
The new 13,000 sq ft store is expected to combine retail, and events, and provide a community space for shoppers to enhance the in-store experience.
The store marks the brandâs second flagship in its store portfolio, following its debut on Regent Street, London, in 2022 and the first of its kind in the US.
This comes as Gymshark said today that New York has âincreasingly become Gymsharkâs North American homeâ over the past year.
Gymshark founder and chief executive Ben Francis said: âThe very first event we did in real life was in a tiny 1000 sq ft pop-up on Mercer Street in New York. It set the tone for so much that followed. The fact that, almost 10 years later, we are preparing to open a flagship store in the city that is 10 times the size of that first store absolutely blows my mind.
âOur headquarters are here, and to welcome so many members of the community to Lift:NY last year was incredible. But to have a permanent location that allows our community to train, shop and hang out, and for us to hang out with them, really takes it to another level. I canât wait to tell you more about it and for the doors to openâ.
CBRE senior vice president Joel Stephen added: âThere is no benchmark for Gymshark. As they enter the market through physical retail, they already have a major platform in the United States with a significant online business and an incredible following through social media, influencers, and their iconic âLiftâ events.
âTheir physical stores in Europe have been vastly successful. 11 Bond Street is such a cool building to announce a physical launch into the US with.â
Gymshark also has stores at Westfield shopping centre, Stratford, The Dubai Mall and at Bicester Village shopping outlet.
Gymshark also confirmed that more âcore storeâ openings are planned for cities including London, Manchester and Amsterdam moving forward.
