The Co-op’s Nisa business has drafted in a convenience boss from Morrisons for a key role in its wholesale operation.

Nisa has appointed Brogan Cook, who was, until recently, the head of convenience projects at Morrisons, as the delivery lead. She will be responsible for delivering new accounts “as the business looks to propel its growth and expansion into new markets”.
Nisa director of sales and retail Katie Secretan said: “We’re at a pivotal moment for our Co-op’s wholesale business, with ambitious growth targets in place, and Brogan’s proven track record in convenience and franchise operations, as well as her strategic leadership, will be invaluable as we continue to deliver growth with our partners.”
Cook said: “I’m excited to be joining Nisa during such a dynamic period for the business. I look forward to applying my experience to lead the delivery of new business within the convenience channel, ensuring we deliver a best-in-class service for our retail partners.”
Brogan started at the beginning of the month.
The Co-op formally acquired Nisa in 2018 for £143m.
