Employers will be better equipped to create happier, healthier and more productive workplaces if they improve wellbeing among leaders and managers first, observes Retail Trust chief executive Chris Brook-Carter

But if retail workers are, on average, feeling happier, it might be that they are now getting more support from their employers to help them cope.
