Amazon has launched Amazon.ie, its dedicated website for Prime members living in Ireland.
Amazon Prime customers in Ireland could already subscribe to Amazon premium, but now they can opt for the Irish service or remain with the UK version.
Customers can browse a wide selection of over 200 million products with prices in Euro, along with fast delivery and returns.
Prime membership on Amazon.ie will cost ā¬6.99 (Ā£5.88) per month or ā¬69.90 (Ā£58.80) annually, and offers fast and free delivery, exclusive deals on popular brands and events such as Prime Day, and access to Prime Video, Prime Gaming, and Amazon Photos.
A ābrands of Irelandā page will also be introduced for local customers to access a range of big-name and independent Irish brands.
Since 2004, Amazon has made direct investments in its Ireland operations of over ā¬22bn (Ā£18.5bn), and opened six sites across the country.
Irish small businesses selling on Amazon reported over ā¬170m (Ā£143m) in export sales, and created more than 2,500 jobs in Ireland to support their businesses on Amazon.
Amazon Ireland country manager Alison Dunn said: āOur teams across the country are unbelievably proud and incredibly excited to launch Amazon.ie.
āThe store brings a wide selection of great value products with fast delivery to customers in Ireland, a local Prime membership with incredible benefits and savings, and lots of opportunities for Irish businesses to reach more customers.
āWe have been building towards this moment since the launch of our fulfillment center in Dublin in 2022, and we canāt wait to write the next chapter of our story in Ireland.ā
