French sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif will unveil its European flagship store in Covent Garden next year.
The retailer will open the doors to a 30,000m sq site located on the corner of Earlham and Mercer Street next March.
It will be the retailer’s first UK standalone store, stocking clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women.
It will also offer limited edition ranges, including the Tour de France ‘La Grande Boucle’ range for spring/summer 2013. Le Coq Sportif was the official supplier of the leader jersey at the Tour de France.
The retailer already has stores in Paris, Milan, Lille and Marseille and will open in Barcelona before the end of the year. The opening of the London store is part of the retailer’s strategy to open concept stores across major European cities.
