Superdry has appointed Nic Shaw as its new chief financial officer, strengthening its leadership team as it enters the next phase of its turnaround strategy.

Shaw has been with the retailer since February 2023 and was most recently its commercial finance director. She brings over 25 years of senior financial experience across several UK and international retailers.
Superdry said Shaw has played a pivotal role in the businessâ restructuring plan.
She began her career at accountancy firm Arthur Andersen, before working in Hong Kong, Australia and Brunei. She returned to the UK and worked with George at Asda, Sainsburyâs and Tesco, predominantly in the grocersâ fashion departments.
Superdry founder and chief executive Julian Dunkerton said: âIâm delighted that Nic Shaw is stepping into the role of CFO. Our executive leadership team is performing strongly, and Nic is the final piece in the puzzle. She combines deep retail expertise with commercial clarity and a hands-on approach to delivery. Coming off the back of our FY25 results and return to profitability, Nicâs leadership will bring real stability to our finance function as we continue to build on this momentum and execute our ambitious growth plans.â
Shaw said: âIâm thrilled to join the executive team at such a pivotal moment. The progress weâve made over the last two years has been both inspiring and rewarding. I couldnât have succeeded in my previous role without the support of our expert finance team, and Iâm proud to lead them into the next chapter of the turnaround. Partnering with the business, we have a great opportunity to support the brandâs evolution, strengthen performance, and build a platform for sustainable growth.â
