Fashion retailer Mango has ramped up its UK expansion plans for 2025 as it plots 20 new openings this year.

Mango announced today the opening of 20 new stores this year which will be laser-focused on London.

The new openings will include six in London as well as others across central England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

One of the new London-based openings will be a new flagship on Oxford Street in a bid to “consolidate” the brand’s presence on the iconic shopping street.

Other openings include Birmingham, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen, Belfast, Craigavon and Cardiff.

The new stores will open with the new mediterranean-inspired store concept which reflects the “spirit and freshness” of the brand.

Mango said the openings come as part of its strategic plan which started in 2024 and is scheduled to look forward to 2026 with the aim of “promoting the company’s differential value proposition, its commitment to sustainability and boosting sales”.

Mango director of expansion and franchising Daniel López said: “The UK is one of the priority markets for Mango’s international growth. Our 2025 expansion plan follows the store openings’ success in 2024 to move forward in capillarity and getting even closer to our customers with stores in which we can offer them the Mango experience.”

At the end of 2024, Mango had more than 70 UK-based stores as well as its online offering and marketplace channel.
