Khy, the fashion brand owned by reality tv star Kylie Jenner, has appointed former Ganni boss Laura du Rusquec as its new chief executive.
Du Rusquec brings more than 20 years of luxury and fashion experience to the role, spending two years at Ganni and holding several roles during a more than seven-year stint at Balenciaga.
Her appointment comes as the direct-to-consumer brand is looking to evolve beyond its limited-edition drop model.
Jenner told Vogue in April that she wanted Khy to “feel permanent versus trend-based”, rather than the current collaborative drops that land every couple of months.
In a statement to WWD Jenner said: “Laura’s appointment reflects where Khy is headed, a brand defined by craftsmanship, longevity and a clear point of view.
“Her experience across luxury and fashion leadership is exactly what this chapter calls for, and I’m proud to be building this next era alongside her.”
Du Rusquec added that she was “thrilled to join Khy… at such a pivotal moment.
“Khy’s commitment to intentional design, elevated quality, and its unique, community-driven approach reflects what today’s consumers are looking for, and I look forward to working with the team as we continue to bring Kylie’s vision to life.”
