Bank, The Fragrance Shop, Ernest Jones and Everything Everywhere are to open stores at the Drake Circus shopping centre in Plymouth.

The 560,000 sq ft Drake Circus shopping centre has 66 shops and restaurants including Marks & Spencer, Topshop, H&M and New Look.

The move marks the first Plymouth store for young fashion retailer Bank, which will take the biggest trading space out of the four retailers, with a 5,345 sq ft unit. The Fragrance Shop has signed up for a 872sq ft store while British jeweller and watchmaker Ernest Jones will rent a 1,984 sq ft unit. Everything Everywhere has snapped up a 2,387 sq ft space. All four retailers have signed 10 year leases.

Landlord British Land said that there had been further changes at the shopping centre, including Carphone Warehouse upsizing to a double size unit while speciality chocolatier Hotel Chocolat had relocated to the ground floor.

British Land asset manager Lauren Obbard said: “Six years after opening, Drake Circus remains the West Country’s dominant shopping destination, and continues to attract leading retailers.”

British Land was represented by Cushman & Wakefield and Smith Young.
