Marks & Spencer has introduced a made-to-order suiting service, offering customers the chance to personalise over 50 suit options.

The service launches with 20 different fabrics and even more design finishes, including monograms, buttons and linings.

Prices for the bespoke suits range from £350 to £799, and are delivered within three weeks.

The service is only available at M&S’ newly transformed Pantheon store on London’s Oxford Street, but the retailer is thought to be considering a wider rollout if it proves popular.

This week, M&S opened the two upper floors of its Pantheon shop, allowing customers to shop the overhauled menswear, kidswear, lingerie and home departments.

The 100,000 sq ft store has been undergoing a transformation for a while, with the new look foodhall opening last year, followed by womenswear and beauty in February.

Commenting on the grand reveal, M&S chief executive Stuart Machin said: “In 2019, we built the blueprint to modernise our food business with a new food format designed to capture the soul of a fresh market.

“Now we’re taking that same approach into fashion, home and beauty. Pantheon on Oxford Street, where we’ve had a store since 1938, is our first full-line flagship and our R&D store for fashion, home and beauty.

“It’s where we’re testing how we make shopping our ranges easier, more curated and more inspiring, from clearer product moments to how the store looks and feels overall.

“We’ve still got a lot to do modernising our estate, with 25 years of catching up to do. But Pantheon is a big step forward.”
