Chart of the Week: Weekly grocery bills £25 cheaper in Germany than UK

New analysis from Circana shows that of the six biggest economies in Western Europe, only France has higher grocery bills than the UK

Food price inflation has really done a number on UK grocery bills. That much is clear from a new report by Circana that looks at the price of a shopping basket of 35 staple items across the six leading economies in Europe (excluding Russia).
