Mixed merchandiser goes to TFI Friday parent
Woolworths is losing its finance director to Whitbread. Christopher Rogers will take the finance director role of the leisure company after the announcement of Woolworths' full-year results in March.

Rogers was appointed in May 2001, after leaving the commercial director role at Comet, where we worked for 8 years.

No successor has been named so far.

Woolworths Group chief executive Trevor Bish-Jones said: 'We wish Chris every success in his new position. He has done an excellent job here at Woolworths and Whitbread offers him a great opportunity to develop further his career. We have started the search process for his successor.'
