Ex-Allders chief to head grocer's clothing business
Former Allders boss Terry Green has been appointed to head Tesco's£600 million clothing business.

He will replace John Hoerner, who will focus on Tesco's European fashion arm.

Green, who has wide retail experience, said: 'I have watched the growth of supermarket clothing over many years and am truly impressed by what Tesco has achieved. I am delighted to be joining the team'

The move will reunite Green with his former boss Hoerner - the pair worked together at Burton. 'With John Hoerner and Terry Green, we have two of the most experienced fashion retailers in the business,' said Tesco commercial and trading director Richard Brasher.
