The Hut Group has launched interest-free instalment payments across its own brands and ecommerce platforms.

The online retail titan has partnered with buy now, pay later online service Clearpay to offer instalment payments across its 54 online stores including Lookfantastic, Myprotein and Glossybox.

The retailer said its credit payment option will be available for purchases over £10 for The Hut Group’s brands “in time for the key Christmas trading period”. Shoppers will be able to pay for purchases in four instalments taken at two-week intervals, with the first instalment taken at the time of purchase.

The technology will also be available on the etailer’s Ingenuity ecommerce platform, which underpins the websites of a range of businesses including Nestle, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Nintendo and Honda.

The platform powers 178 localised websites across 46 languages and 42 currencies.

Chief executive and founder Matthew Moulding said: “The launch of our partnership with Clearpay demonstrates a common objective to make significant investments today in order to be able to offer best-in-class customer experiences and further enhance our Ingenuity platform.

“We strive to offer customers and brands a seamless buying experience and look forward to working with our new partners as they join us on our growth journey.”

Clearpay UK chief executive Carl Schieble said: “We are delighted to partner with THG and offer their wide-ranging portfolio of beauty and wellness brands to our growing British consumers. THG’s commitment to supporting its customers and brands fits perfectly with our ethos and we look forward to working closely with them.”
