Warehouse will soon provide its customers with collection points where they can drop off their online returns

  • Warehouse is partnering with Doddle to provide a returns service
  • The retailer will offer customers free online returns at designated collection points
  • Customers will be able to drop off their unwanted online orders at collection points at major UK railway stations

By partnering with delivery and returns service Doddle, the fashion retailer will be able to offer free online returns at Doddle’s collection points, which are located in major railway stations at 34 locations around the UK.

Warehouse already offers a free returns service through return to store, Collect+ returns and return by post, but this partnership provides the retailer with more capacity.

Doddle has capacity for 40,000 parcels and plans to open 250 new collection locations in the next three years.

Doddle has also partnered with retailers such as Amazon, Hawes & Curtis, Countrywide Farmers, Halfords and T.M. Lewin.

Doddle boss Tim Robinson said: “Giving customers a greater range of convenient options for delivery and returns is a priority for all online retailers. The customer experience in the final mile has been a pain-point for many retailers, which is where Doddle comes in.”

Last month, the click-and-collect delivery service revealed its intentions to open stores in 10 universities across the UK this year.

Doddle bosses said the new ‘click-on-campus’ service would bring “greater convenience” to university students and staff.

The first store of its kind opened in April at the University of Salford student village.
