Shirt retailer Thomas Pink is to trial a new women’s only store format at its Harrods concession and in its Jermyn Street outlet. Designed by San Francisco-based design consultancy Brand & Allen, the new look will launch in Jermyn Street next month and is based around a boudoir design.

Other features will include a scent that will be pumped around the store and a dedicated music playlist.

The two trading outlets are a trial and a decision on a possible roll-out of the format remains to be taken. Thomas Pink trades from 80 stores and concessions worldwide, with many of its outlets being found in airports. Previously, design consultancy Four IV has been responsible for the redesign of the main stores, with a flagship opening in Heathrow’s Terminal 5 last year.
