The Rolling Stones have opened their first permanent store on London’s Carnaby Street with product ranging from limited edition artwork to plectrums and face masks.

The store is called RS No. 9 Carnaby and was created in partnership with the band and Universal Music’s merchandise and brand management company Bravado, which has previously created pop-up retail experiences for artists such as Billie Eilish and Kayne West.

The store will sell goods ranging from £10 face masks to £1,195 limited-edition artworks by John Pasche, the designer of the band’s iconic logo. Rolling Stones-branded products ranging from t-shirts and hoodies to keyrings and water bottles will also be on offer.

The shop windows will feature a metal sculpture that visualises the opening bars of Rolling Stones track Paint It Black, described as a “world-first soundwave installation”.

The Rolling Stones said: “Soho has always encapsulated rock ’n’ roll so Carnaby Street was the perfect spot for our own store. We are confident this exciting project that our friends at Bravado have created will be an unrivalled experience for everyone to come to London and enjoy.”

Bravado chief executive Mat Vlasic added: “With this innovative partnership, the Rolling Stones add yet another cultural touchpoint to their rich legacy. RS No. 9 Carnaby is the result of years of planning and decades of building one of the world’s most recognised brands. It creates a destination where fans can connect and immerse themselves in the music, style and spirit of one of the world’s most iconic and beloved bands.”
