M&S is extending its Christmas trading hours in 400 stores

The retailer said 400 stores across the UK will be open from 6am to 10pm to ”make it easier for customers to shop at a time that’s convenient for them”.

It added that “a number” of stores will be open until 10pm on Saturday, December 23 and 4pm on Christmas Eve for “that last-minute dash”.

However, its stores, support centres and distribution centres will be closed on Boxing Day “so colleagues can spend more time with their loved ones”.

M&S has also extended its online Christmas food delivery windows until December 13. Any orders made before the window closes will then be available for click and collect in store between December 22 and 24.

For customers looking to return unwanted Christmas gifts, the retailer said returns will run until January 28, 2024.

Returns to a clothing and home store will be processed on the same day, while returns to a food hall or outlet will be processed within 14 days.
