Landlord British Land has made leasing deals with a raft of fashion retailers at one of its prime locations.

Ralph Lauren, Mango, Luca Faloni, Hobbs, and Whistles are due to open at London’s Broadgate Central campus this year.
The retailers will take space at Broadgate Central, spanning the ground and lower ground floors of 1 Broadgate and 100 Liverpool Street. This will link Liverpool Street station to Finsbury Avenue Square with 120,000 sq ft of retail and hospitality.
The property company has hailed a “strong start” to the year, strengthening the campus’ retail offering and providing around 200,000 sq ft of office leasing.
The extended part of the campus, 1 Broadgate, will be completed later this year. The building’s office space is already 96% pre-let to JLL and A&O Shearman.
Since the start of the year, British Land has agreed terms to offer 200,000 sq ft to businesses across sectors at 155 Bishopsgate, Broadgate Tower, Broadwalk House, 10 Exchange Square, Exchange House, 199 Bishopsgate and Storey.
Broadgate attracts 29 million visitors per year, and retailers recently saw a 4.6% increase in sales year-on-year.
British Land chief executive Simon Carter said: “This is a strong start to the year for Broadgate. The demand we’ve seen for workspaces across the campus is due to its excellent connectivity and unrivalled range of amenities, with businesses seeking high quality space within a well located, thriving environment.
“The fantastic additions to our retail offer at Broadgate Central will only enhance the campus’s appeal.”
