The retailer recorded a rise in sales of 9 per cent, compared with 10 per cent in the same month last year. This is the first month this year that the fashion brand has seen a dip in sales growth compared with the corresponding months last year since May.
However, for the previous six months, the retailer has seen sales growth steadily slip from a year-high of 15 per cent.
Although worrying for H&M, it is broadly in line with other high street fashion brands, such as French Connection, which sent out a profit warning today.
