Two major deals have been signed at Glasgow's Forge shopping centre, ahead of the£100 million sale of the edge-of-town mall.
Dunnes Stores and H&M have signed up for stores to augment the tenant line-up, which includes Asda, Littlewoods, River Island, JD Sports, Arcadia Group, New Look, Boots, Dixons, WHSmith and Clarks.
Dunnes opened a 42,000 sq ft (3,900 sq m) variety store in December within the 55,000 sq ft (5,110 sq m) West Mall extension. This is Dunnes' third store in Scotland.
Meanwhile, H&M has agreed to occupy a flagship store within the centre, to open by Easter. DTZ is the letting agent.
By the end of January, Forge will have a new owner, with Resolution Property and Teachers Insurance Annuity Association selling out to Portfolio Holdings and Hark Retail. The new landlords have welcomed the lettings.
Portfolio Holdings chief executive Paul Parkinson said: 'We plan a policy of further investment, including new catering, further flagship stores and adding to the breadth of the retail offer within the centre.'
