Ralph Lauren has launched its UK-facing e-commerce site.

Ralph Lauren has today launched its UK-facing e-commerce site, ralphlauren.co.uk.

As Retail Week reported last month, the US fashion house hopes the new site will help it to grow its UK revenue tenfold over the next five years.

The UK site will stock the firm’s entire portfolio of sub-brands, from its catwalk collections to its denim and golf ranges.

Since launching its US site in November 2000, Ralph Lauren has used several innovative technologies in its e-commerce effort. In recent years it has launched several iPhone applications, including a “make your own” application for its Rugby brand. It has also made use of QR codes and interactive windows.
