A private British investment group has bought the luxury gifts and leathergoods brand Tanner Krolle from Chanel, and opened its first store in London's West End.
The new owners are planning a drive to grow the brand into the City of London, Sloane Street and Brompton Cross.
A 60 sq m unit has been leased at the junction of Burlington Gardens and Cork Street in Mayfair, and a rent of£92,500 a year was agreed for a 15-year lease.
Tanner Krolle's property consultant DE&J Levy is now looking for more stores on luxury pitches.
