Hermes has begun the construction of a retail park adjacent to its highly successful Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, on the outskirts of Sheffield, with units pre-let to TK Maxx and Pizza Hut.
The six-unit scheme will total 55,000 sq ft (5,110 sq m). TK Maxx will occupy 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) of retail space, while Pizza Hut is taking 3,800 sq ft (355 sq m).
There are two further 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m) units and one 5,000 sq ft (465 sq m) unit that can be combined to suit tenant requirements, as well as a standalone unit of 2,600 sq ft (240 sq m).
The park has an open A1/A3 planning consent, and will be completed in early summer. Hermes portfolio manager Richard Low said: 'The letting agents are reporting a great deal of interest, and we expect to be able to make further announcements regarding tenants in the very near future.'
Douglas Stevens & Co and Chase & Partners are letting agents for Hermes.
Knight Frank represented TK Maxx, while Donaldsons acted for Pizza Hut.
