Holland & Barrett has started to shape its leadership team under new group chief executive Anthony Houghton, Retail Week can reveal.

Houghton was previously the chief executive of the UK and Ireland, but last month Retail Week revealed that he is to take on the role of group CEO on September 29.
The new leadership structure is part of the retailerâs plan to deliver sustainable growth, innovation in health and wellness, and strengthen its position for customers.
As part of the new transition, wellness solutions boss Tamara Rajah and international CEO Alex Dower have decided to leave their roles on September 30.
Holland & Barrett said they have both made âoutstanding contributions to the business during a successful periodâ where the groupâs revenue has grown by nearly 40%.
Other new changes to the leadership structure include: Guy Farmer moves from commercial director to chief commercial officer; Ian Clark goes from group director of business development to chief strategy officer; and Jacopo Mor is to move from digital director to chief digital officer.
Recruitment is also underway for a chief growth officer and a chief operating officer.
The updated team will prioritise acceleration of its digital transformation, expanding product innovation and enhancing the customer experience.
Houghton said: âI am delighted to announce a new leadership structure that brings together exceptional existing and new talent, experience, and a passion for health and wellness.
âTogether, we are committed to building on Holland & Barrettâs strong heritage, driving forward our strategy, and ensuring we continue to make wellness a way of life for millions of customers.
âI would like to thank Tamara and Alex for their immense contributions to Holland & Barrett over the past several years. They leave with our appreciation and best wishes as they move on to the next phases of their careers.â
The retailer is also on track to deliver another year of double-digit growth.
