Game has reshuffled its management team to “strengthen the group’s offer in the UK and around the world”.

Customer and brand director Martyn Gibbs has been promoted to managing director of UK & Eire, with responsibility for developing Game’s UK businesses and delivering a “customer proposition in each brand which will truly engage and excite customers”.

Gibbs will lead all of the teams across Game and Gamestation in the UK, and report to chief operating officer Terry Scicluna.

Commercial and supply chain director Tricia Brennan has been appointed group commercial strategy director. She will work with Game’s suppliers at a global level to build a “market leading commercial strategy across the Group”, according to Scicluna.

He added that Brennan will also support the delivery of “an outstanding product proposition to customers in every territory”. She will report in to chief executive Lisa Morgan.

Scicluna said: “As the innovation in our industry accelerates, and we prepare to launch yet more exciting new technology before Christmas, these new appointments will allow us to harness all of our strengths and direct them so that every one of our outlets offers customers the very best products, deals and experience.”
