Milton Guffogg, the former chief executive of now-defunct greetings cards retailer Celebrations, has been appointed European operations director at restructuring and investment firm GA Asset Advisors.
He will start on August 16 and will work with managing director Gavin George, who joined in January and was previously head of retail at Ernst & Young.
Guffogg said: “The economic environment in the UK and Europe is likely to continue to be difficult and GA Asset Advisors is uniquely poised to assist solvent and insolvent businesses.”
