Amazon workers strike for second time in ‘David and Goliath battle’ for better pay

Amazon sign on side of warehouse

Day two of the first-ever Amazon UK strike takes place today (February 28) as workers walk out in a bid for better pay.

GMB members are accelerating their campaign to receive pay of £15 per hour as the union raises concerns about long hours and severe conditions.

More than 350 workers at Amazon’s Coventry warehouse are set to walk out from 6am to 8am and from 6pm to 8pm today and on March 2.
