The conflict in the Middle East is beyond the government’s control, but it can adapt domestic policies to address effects such as rising costs, says BRC chief executive Helen Dickinson

I write this, hoping what I write today will still be true tomorrow. In today’s accelerated geopolitics, little is certain. The two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran could be the basis of lasting peace or simply the eye of the storm.
