Fashion web site Net-a-Porter will offer pieces from American fashion brand Halston to customers only 24 hours after the collection is shown next week at New York Fashion Week.

As soon as the clothes are shown on the catwalk on February 5, customers in New York and London will be offered same-day delivery of limited edition pieces as part of the brand’s relaunch. Express delivery will also be offered worldwide exclusively on the e-tail site.

Net-a-Porter chairman and founder Natalie Massenet said: “This is one of the most exciting fashion relaunches in the past decade. We are so excited to bring this fabulous collection into the 21st Century with an online launch.”

Halston is an iconic American brand famed for dressing Liza Minnelli, Jackie Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor. The relaunch is backed by Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon, along with investors Hilco Consumer Capital and Harvey Weinstein.
